About

Dr. Higgins is a native of Augusta, Georgia. Prior to 2001 he was in a group practice in Atlanta, Georgia where he had been since completing residency training at Emory University. He and his wife are glad to be in Waycross. He has enjoyed living in a smaller town and developing many friendships within the community.

He enjoys the thrill of helping bring newborn babies into the world, as well as various types of gynecologic surgery including pelvic support surgery (for leaking urine/incontinence, and other related problems). Please see his resume for further information about his training.
